Organic Operators Australia

NEWSLETTER — MARCH 2026

Representing all certified organic operators

New industry guide

OOA has released a new guide to industry regulation.

OOA encourages any organic operators impacted by mandatory biosecurity actions to seek legal advice as soon as possible in order to ensure only permitted organic treatments are used rather than use of prohibited synthetic chemical or synthetic biology which may impact organic certification post treatment.

Please review the attached guide for organic operators in Australia, and provide to any legal practitioners to better inform protection of organic land and goods.
